ARCO Beverage Group recently completed a 62,250 SF beverage distribution facility expansion for Wayne Densch, Inc., a top distributor of alcoholic beverages in the Central Florida region. Located in Sanford, FL, the state-of-the-art facility significantly increased the company’s distribution capabilities with a 41,250 SF controlled-environment warehouse, a 2,000 SF draught cooler, and 32’ clear height. The facility also includes a 21,000 SF corporate office, featuring employee amenities and a 5,600 SF hospitality room. Project Details:
This project consisted of a 62,250 square foot expansion to an existing beverage distribution facility, including a 21,000 square foot corporate office and 41,250 square feet of controlled environment warehouse space. The scope also included the addition of a 5,600 square foot hospitality room, a 2,000 square foot draught cooler, and a 1,900 square foot dock office. The building was constructed using insulated tilt-up concrete panels with a clear height of 32 feet. A significant challenge during design and construction was integrating the new structure with the existing pre-engineered metal building, which had a lower 24-foot clear height. The project also included the installation of a new fuel island to support fleet operations.
