Strathman Sales

Designed and built for Strathman Sales, this project is a 60,000 total-square-foot beverage distribution center and office.

This project consists of an approximately 60,000 SF beverage distribution center and office for Strathman Sales in Topeka, Kansas, designed to support controlled-temperature storage, distribution, and administrative functions. The facility includes an approximately 30,000 SF controlled environment warehouse, a 7,000 SF back-in loading area, and an approximately 15,000 SF office with an integrated hospitality and conference room, along with additional second-floor space supporting office operations.

The warehouse is designed with a 28-foot unobstructed clear storage height, allowing efficient racking and material handling. Temperature-controlled operations are supported by a draught cooler, integrated into the warehouse layout. Dock operations include hydraulic vertical storing dock levelers and truck restraints, improving safety and throughput.

Interior systems include energy-efficient T5 lighting with motion sensors and coordinated HVAC units and controls to reduce energy consumption. The building exterior incorporates architectural thin brick and form liner accents to achieve the appearance of split-face CMU block while maintaining construction efficiency. The project also includes a 7,000 SF remote truck storage building, supporting fleet operations and site circulation.
