BEVERAGE DISTRIBUTION FACILITY IN AMERICAN CANYON, CA
Designed and built for Scannell Properties, this wine distribution facility and temperature-controlled warehouse totals 250,000 square-feet for end user, Copper Peak Logistics.
This project consists of an approximately 250,000 SF wine distribution facility for Copper Peak Logistics in American Canyon, California, developed on a 12-acre site. The facility includes an approximately 140,000 SF 58°F temperature-controlled warehouse, a 100,000 SF dry warehouse, and an integrated 10,000 SF office, supporting regional wine storage and distribution operations.
The building is constructed using tilt-up concrete construction and is designed with a 28-foot clear height to support palletized storage and efficient material handling. Shipping and receiving operations are supported by twenty dock positions, four drive-in ramps, and two building entries, allowing flexible circulation and throughput.
The roof assembly consists of a 60-mil TPO roof system, and interior spaces are illuminated with LED high-bay lighting to improve energy efficiency and visibility. Electrical infrastructure includes a 2,000-amp electrical service, sized to support temperature-controlled operations and warehouse systems. Fire protection is provided by an ESFR fire protection system, designed for high-piled storage conditions. The facility was engineered to deliver durable construction, controlled-temperature performance, and efficient logistics for wine distribution.
