Horizon Beverage

Designed and built for Horizon Beverage, this project is a 160,000 total-square-foot beverage distribution facility.

This project consists of an approximately 160,000 SF beverage distribution facility for Horizon Beverage in Oakland, California, designed to support controlled-environment storage and regional distribution operations. The facility includes an approximately 110,000 SF controlled environment warehouse maintained between 60°F and 68°F, a 10,000 SF draught cooler, and an approximately 20,000 SF office, along with a 1,500 SF hospitality room to support administrative and client-facing functions. A 10,000 SF loading canopy provides covered dock operations and weather protection.

The warehouse is designed with a 30-foot unobstructed clear height, supporting efficient palletized storage and material handling. Fire protection includes an ESFR sprinkler system within the controlled environment warehouse and a dry-pipe fire sprinkler system within the draught cooler, coordinated to meet code and operational requirements. The building utilizes a pier-supported structural concrete floor slab, engineered to accommodate site conditions and heavy distribution loads.

The facility was engineered to deliver reliable temperature control, durable structural systems, and efficient logistics flow within an urban distribution environment, supporting long-term beverage storage and distribution performance.
