Coastal Beverage Company

Designed and built for Coastal Beverage Company, this project is a 173,668-total-square-foot beverage distribution center, office, and maintenance facility located in Wilmington, North Carolina.

This 173,668 SF facility was designed to optimize product flow and enhance operational efficiency while providing a modern, amenity-rich workplace. The 111,086 SF controlled temperature warehouse features a 32’ clear height, eleven vertical-storing dock positions, and accommodations for a future 130,000 SF expansion. Constructed using Thermomass tilt-up concrete wall panels and a structural steel frame with joist and girder roof system, the warehouse ensures long-term durability and energy efficiency. Additional operational spaces include a 12,335 SF draught cooler, 2,188 SF repack area, 4,560 SF back-in loading bays, and 3,292 SF cart storage area.

A two-story, 2,442 SF warehouse office includes a crow’s nest overlook and dedicated over-the-road trucker restrooms to support daily logistics. The 32,165 SF two-story main office features a 4,115 SF hospitality suite with a 2,110 SF patio, a 1,547 SF break room with an adjoining 1,250 SF patio, a 1,078 SF workout facility, 1,871 SF sign shop, and 3,381 SF open sales area.

A 7,089 SF maintenance building and mezzanine provide two maintenance bays, offices, restrooms, and parts storage. Together, these facilities create a high-performance, client-focused operation that reinforces Coastal Beverage Company’s commitment to service, efficiency, and employee well-being.
