CEW EXPANSION AND RENOVATION IN RODGERS, MN
Designed and built for Capital Beverage, this project is a 80,000-total-square-feet controlled environment warehouse expansion and renovation.
This project consists of an approximately 80,000 SF controlled environment warehouse (CEW) expansion and renovation for Capitol Beverage in Rogers, Minnesota, focused on increasing refrigerated capacity and improving distribution efficiency. The scope includes conversion of an approximately 20,000 SF ambient drive-thru area to CEW use, a 10,000 SF draught cooler expansion, and an 0 SF repack area, all integrated into the existing operation.
The facility is designed with a 32-foot clear height to support palletized storage and material handling. The expansion adds three new dock positions, increasing inbound and outbound capacity. The structure utilizes precast concrete wall panels with steel joists and girders, providing durability and long-term performance.
The building was designed to accommodate a future solar panel system, allowing for renewable energy integration without structural modification. The renovation and expansion were engineered to increase cold storage capacity while maintaining operational continuity and long-term flexibility for beverage distribution operations.
