ARCO Beverage Group recently completed a new 173,668 SF beverage distributorship, office, and maintenance facility for Coastal Beverage in Wilmington, North Carolina. The state-of-the-art facility was designed with custom details that resulted in a beach-inspired aesthetic and met Coastal’s personalized needs.
The state-of-the-art facility features 111,086 SF of controlled temperature warehouse space with 32-foot clear heights, 11 vertical storing dock positions, and is designed to accommodate a future 130,000 SF CTW expansion. The warehouse utilizes a durable concrete Thermomass tilt-up wall system with a structural steel frame and joists and girder roof system, providing long-term performance and flexibility.

Additional warehouse features include a 12,335 SF draught cooler, 2,188 SF repack area, 4,560 SF back-in loading bays, 3,292 SF cart storage, and a 2,442 SF two-story warehouse office equipped with a crow’s nest overlook and restrooms for over-the-road drivers.
The 32,165 SF two-story main office includes a 4,115 SF hospitality suite with an adjacent 2,110 SF patio, a 1,547 SF break room with a 1,250 SF patio, a 1,078 SF workout facility, a 1,871 SF sign shop, and a 3,381 SF open sales area. These spaces are designed to support employee well-being, customer engagement, and operational efficiency.
A 7,089 SF maintenance building and mezzanine includes two maintenance bays, office space, restrooms, parts storage, and a storage mezzanine to support the fleet and facility operations.
